Orthodontic Approved Foods

October 27, 2016

Halloweeen Candy Nightmares

Eating proper foods, avoiding certain foods, and minimizing sugar intake will help to insure that your orthodontic treatment goes as smoothly as possible.

Your braces are precise appliances. Hard foods can break or damage wires and brackets. Sticky foods can get caught between brackets and wires, and loosen or dislodge your braces.  Sugary foods can cause tooth decay and should be minimized.
